Lido Key
is a barrier island situated just west of the city of Sarasota and just south of St. Armands Key. It is bordered by Sarasota Bay on the east and the Gulf of Mexico on the west. Lido Key has a mix of single-family homes, condominiums, mobile homes, hotels and seasonal vacation rentals. The islands have a large population of winter residents and retirees, as well as tourists. Lido Key has short term apartment rentals, but if you are looking for a more permanent residence, the city of Sarasota has more options. Rent for a one- bedroom apartment in the area is between $800 to $1032 per month.
