Lido Beach
is located in South Central Florida, along the Gulf Coast near the south end of Tampa Bay. The climate includes lots of sunshine year round. During the months of June through September, the weather is hot and the humidity hovers around 50 percent or higher. Although this sounds high, Gulf breezes help moderate temperatures and virtually every structure in Florida is equipped with air conditioning, so it is quite comfortable. The rainy season is from late May through October. You can expect almost daily thunderstorms during this time, but they dissipate quickly and within minutes the sun is shining again. Winters are much drier in comparison with warm daytime temperatures and cool nights. The hurricane season in Florida runs from late August through November, but plenty of warning time is generally given for these types of tropical storms.
